The Diffusion™ plugin for Eclipse can be installed through
Eclipse and configured to reference the Diffusion installation on
your local system or on a remote server.
Your version of Eclipse must be version Kepler or later for Java™ EE
Developers to use the Diffusion plugin.
To install the Diffusion plugin, complete the following
steps:

In Eclipse, select .

In the Install wizard that opens, click the
Add... button.

In the Add Repository dialog, complete the
Name and Location fields.
- Name: Diffusion
- Location:
http://download.pushtechnology.com/eclipse/diffusion_version/
Replace
diffusion_version with the
version number of
Diffusion you are using. For
example,
5.9.
Click OK.

In the Install wizard on the Available
Software panel, select the plugins you want to install. Click
Next.
We recommend you select all available plugins.

On the Install Details panel, review the plugins to be
installed and click Next.

On the Review Licenses panel, select I accept
the terms of the license agreement and click
Finish.

If a Security Warning dialog opens, click
OK to continue with the install.

When prompted, click Restart Now to restart Eclipse and
complete the install.
Before you can create a Diffusion project in
Eclipse, you must configure at least one Diffusion
instance in the Eclipse preferences.

In Eclipse, open the Preferences wizard.
- On Linux or Windows, select .
- On MacOS, select .

In the left panel of the Preferences wizard, expand
Diffusion and select Installations. Click Add....

In the New Installation details dialog, navigate to the
local installation of Diffusion. Click
OK.

Click OK to close the Preferences
wizard.
In future, if you want to check for updates to the Diffusion plugins for Eclipse, select .
